Dear Parents,
I am Dr Kiran Devi, Triple MA, BEd, PhD, having teaching experience of 22 years and 3 years of principalship. It is an honour and a privilege to be the Principal of PMS, Old Police Lines — the school that stands for excellence and continuously sets the highest standards.
"One who dares to teach must never cease to learn."
The school is not new to me. It has been my raison d'être for the last 25 years — including the last 3 years as Principal. I have learnt not only from my seniors and colleagues, but also from my students and parents. I am committed to maintaining the impeccable image and highest standards, and carrying them forward to new heights.
For me, education does not mean providing answers. It means equipping pupils with the means to find answers for themselves. Education empowers students to discover themselves. The teachers support them in channelising resources vis-à-vis their dreams, thus sustainably generating civilised and productive human capital in line with the PMS Society's motto "Service Before Self".
Over the years, I have witnessed in our students an unparalleled knowledge base, a vibrant dynamism, and a sustained commitment. I, along with my team, intend to build on this strong foundation and raise the standards to the zenith.
My doors will always be open to students and parents for any suggestion or guidance.
